Wilderness Wildlife Week

May is the last chance to enjoy Spring in the Smoky Mountains - where you get mid-80s temperatures and snow on the peaks just a few days from each other, beautiful golden fields and pastel colored flora and a chance to indulge in it to your heart's content.

Did you miss the Wilderness Wildlife Week in Pigeon Forge this January? It's because they moved it to May where nature fans can enjoy the Smokies up close and personal during one of the peak seasons of ecological thrive. We have so many flowers, bugs and wildlife that comes alive in May that it only seemed, forgive the unavoidable pun, natural to have Wilderness Wildlife Week come to May.

Wilderness Wildlife Week will be offering a variety of nature programs daily and the event will be centered at the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge. You can get more information on this event at www.mypigeonforge.com/events/wilderness-wildlife-week/.
